OKC foundation names trustees

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation trustees announced that Talita DeNegri, Mount St. Mary Catholic High School principal, and Edward A. Krei, an Oklahoma City bank consultant, have joined the board for three-year terms that began July 1.

During her 33-year teaching career, DeNegri has spent 26 years at Mount St. Mary Catholic High School, serving as principal since 2004. She was named the 20002001 Oklahoma teacher of the year and serves on boards for the Youth Leadership Exchange and Mercy Secondary Educators Associatio­n.

An independen­t banking consultant, Krei recently retired as managing director of The Baker Group, an investment firm specializi­ng in investment portfolio services, asset liability management and financial strategies for community-based financial institutio­ns. Krei also serves on the Oklahoma City Community Foundation’s investment committee.

Krei and DeNegri succeed Dr. Mary Ann Bauman, who resigned after moving out of state, and attorney Steven C. Davis, who completed his nineyear term June 30. Davis now will serve as general counsel.

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation’s 15-member board of trustees is comprised of civic and business leaders who govern the organizati­on, which administer­s more than 1,500 charitable endowments and is ranked as one of the nation’s largest community foundation­s.
