Home tours to benefit The CARE Center

Tours of a Home of Distinctio­n by builder Sheryl Willingham, of Willco Homes, at 17770 Blue Heron Court in the Rose Creek neighborho­od soon will help raise money for The CARE Center, 1403 Ashton Place.

The home will open for tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sundays, this weekend and again July 28-30. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at Carecenter-okc. org/hometour/ or at the door.

The event is a Home of Distinctio­n marketing production of TLConcepts LLC in Leawood, Kansas.

Establishe­d in 1993, The CARE Center — CARE stands for “Child Abuse Response and Evaluation” — pulls together legal, medical and social work experts, along with volunteers, to create a supportive network for children who have been abused, as well as their families. It also offers education on how to prevent and report abuse.

The home covers about 6,500 square feet and sits on about 1 acre overlookin­g a pond and the neighborho­od’s namesake golf course. It features four bedrooms, four and a half baths plus the master suite with its own bath.

Project partners include Amini’s Galleria; Blue Haven Pools; Ferguson Bath, Kitchen and Lighting Gallery; Fusion Integratio­n; Harry’s TV, Video and Appliance; Mill Creek Flooring Center; Natural Stone Design; One Source Windows and Doors; and Petra Roofing Co.
