Love’s continues support of rodeo

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores has renewed its commitment to support the International Professional Rodeo Association’s 48th annual International Finals Rodeo.

The rodeo will be Jan. 19-21 at the Oklahoma State Fair Arena.

The IPRA, founded in 1957, sanctions about 350 rodeos across the U.S. and Canada during a season that culminates with the Oklahoma City event.

Top rodeo athletes from multiple states, as well as Canada and Australia, participate at the International Finals Rodeo, which both stimulates Oklahoma’s economy and provides family-friendly entertainment for its rodeo fans, rodeo and Love’s officials said.

“We have worked with the IPRA for over a decade and look forward to continued success with OKC’s premier rodeo event,” said Dave Frankenfield, Love’s vice president of marketing.

“It’s great to have Love’s back on board as the presenting sponsor this year,” said Dale Yerigan, the association’s general manager.

“Having the backing of a company like Love’s with its strength and stability lends credibility to our event and gives it a higher status symbol.”
