Norman road projects continue

NORMAN — The south half of the McGee Drive and W Lindsey Street intersecti­on has reopened. As constructi­on continues on the Lindsey Street widening project, the south half of Berry Road at W Lindsey and the south half of Wiley Road at W Lindsey will close. Both intersecti­ons are expected to be reopened to through traffic in early September. Signs will be in place at each closure to direct motorists. Enid venue to host outdoor expo

ENID — The Sportsman’s and Outdoor Expo is set for Saturday and Sunday at the Chisholm Trail Expo Center. The expo is filled with vendor products and informatio­n, educationa­l activities and friendly competitio­ns for hunters, gamers and outdoors lovers. Activities include archery, hunter education, hands-on children’s activities and paintball. The Chisholm Trail Expo Center is at 111 W Purdue Ave. Admission is free and the hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more informatio­n, call 580-237-1390.

Library sets eclipse party

MUSTANG — A solar eclipse viewing party will be from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Mustang Library. It is a come-and-go event for all ages, and solar eclipse viewing glasses will be available on a firstcome, first-served basis.
