1. Oklahoma at Ohio State, 6:30 p.m., ABC: Sooners have won 11 straight true road games. Five of those victories came against top-25 teams.

2. TCU at Arkansas, 2:30 p.m., CBS: The Horned Frogs went to the Ozarks every other season for 60 years. But this is TCU’s first trip to Fayettevil­le since 1990.

3. Iowa at Iowa State, 11 a.m., ESPN2: The Hawkeyes have won two straight trips to Ames, which is as good a reason as any that Matt Campbell now is the Iowa State coach.

4. Oklahoma State at South Alabama: played Friday night.

5. Central Michigan at Kansas, 3 p.m., Fox Sports Oklahoma: KU quarterbac­k Peyton Bender’s first game against a Division I-A foe since quarterbac­king Washington State against Washington in the 2015 Apple Cup.

6. San Jose State at Texas, 2:30 p.m., Longhorn Network: The Longhorns are quite in need of a strong performanc­e and ought to get it.

7. Texas-San Antonio at Baylor, 7 p.m., Fox Sports Oklahoma: UTSA plays its season opener after its schedule game last week against Houston U. was canceled.

8. East Carolina at West Virginia, 11 a.m., Fox Sports2: First meeting since 2009. The Pirates have lost five straight games by at least 20 points.

9. Charlotte at Kansas State, 11 a.m., Fox Sports Oklahoma: I love you, Bill Snyder, but this schedule is awful.
