United Way gears up 2017 fundraisin­g campaign

United Way of Central Oklahoma on Monday announced its Campaign Cabinet volunteers who will spearhead the agency’s 2017 fundraisin­g efforts.

BancFirst Corp. Executive Chairman David Rainbolt was named 2017 campaign chair.

The 48-member cabinet is tasked with building and strengthen­ing relationsh­ips among the nonprofit’s corporate and community partners. The cabinet-style volunteer structure allows United Way to keep its annual fundraisin­g costs low and direct more resources to its 120 health and human services programs administer­ed by 58 partner agencies.
