Monday’s livestock report from the Oklahoma City Stockyards: Receipts: 8,500; Last week: 4,911; Last year: 6,073 Compared to two weeks ago: Feeder steers and heifers trading mostly $3-$6 higher. Steer and heifer calves lightly tested but a much higher undertone is noted as evidenced by instances of $7 higher on heavier calves. Demand good, quality plain with a few attractive. Trade active. Recent moisture and cooler weather have allowed producers in the area to hold on to cattle and wait for market conditions to adapt before selling their cattle. Feeder cattle supply included 59 percent Steers, 1 percent Dairy Steers, 38 percent Heifers, and 2 percent Bulls. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 74 percent.
