HALLOWEEN HAPPENINGS
Family friendly autumn and Halloween activities are scheduled this month across the metro area. Here are some of those events:
OKLAHOMA CITY
Haunt the Zoo
The 34th annual Haunt the Zoo will become a daytime event this year.
Guests can enjoy the trick-or-treat event from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Costumes are encouraged (adults, too), but nothing too scary.
In addition to general admission, guests can purchase Trick-or-Treat bags for $7 per person ($6 for ZOOfriends members).

EDMOND
Trunk or Treat
The third annual Trunk or Treat event will be hosted by the Edmond Parks and Recreation Department.
This free event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Mitch Park.
Candy will be handed out from decorated vehicles by University of Central Oklahoma student groups, local businesses and city of Edmond departments.
EL RENO
Halloween Spooktacular
Registration for the El Reno Halloween Spooktacular children’s costume contest will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Centre Theatre, 110 S Bickford.
Then, Trick-or-Treat Downtown will be from 11 a.m. to noon, and businesses will hand out candy.

MIDWEST CITY
Trick-or-Treat City
The city of Midwest City will sponsor a trick-or-treat opportunity for children and their families from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park.
In addition to an afternoon of trick-or-treating, the event will include games and activities for children of all ages. Costumes are encouraged.

MOORE
Haunt Old Town
A trick-or-treating event will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday in Old Town Moore Downtown.
In addition to treats, there will be inflatables, games, music, food trucks and more.
NORMAN
Norman Fall Fest
The fifth annual Downtown Norman Fall Fest will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
Children in costume can trick-or-treat local businesses and enjoy moon bounces, rides, arts activities, performances, food trucks and more.
