Soft Surroundings comes to OKC
Soft Surroundings, a retailer for busy women of all ages, is opening its first Oklahoma store at Classen Curve on Friday.
Officials said the retailer aims to offer customers stylish and comfortable clothing, accessories, beauty and home goods, while giving them an effortless shopping experience.
Most of its apparel and home goods are designed exclusively by and for Soft Surroundings.
Its beauty department will feature complimentary cosmetic and skin care consultations as well as regular beauty events, they said.
“We couldn’t be happier to finally bring Soft Surroundings to Oklahoma, specifically to Classen Curve in Oklahoma City,” said Danny Boddy, Soft Surrounding’s senior vice president of retail.
Officials said the Classen Curve store, one of 16 it planned to open this year, will have an all-day grand opening starting at 10 a.m. Friday that will feature treats, drinks and specialized beauty treatments.
The first 100 customers will receive a special Soft Surroundings gift bag filled with some of the retailer’s top products.
Francesca’s to open at Classen Curve
Francesca’s will open its newest boutique on Nov. 4 at Classen Curve in Oklahoma City.
The boutique sells women’s apparel, jewelry, shoes, accessories, and gift items.
Officials with Francesca’s said the boutique brings in limited supplies of new items on an almost daily basis.
During the Nov. 4 grand opening, officials said the first 20 guests to visit Francesca’s will receive a gift card.

Aldi to celebrate new look, remodeling
Aldi is about to unveil changes to two of its Oklahoma City area stores it has remodeled.
The Aldi at 6010 NW 23 and the Aldi at 1001 W Edmond Road in Edmond both will celebrate the completion of their remodeling Nov. 9, store officials said. The stores are among 13 in the market Aldi is remodeling as part of a $21 million project the business says it will complete by 2019.
Across the nation, officials said Aldi is remodeling more than 1,300 stores.
The remodeled stores offer more produce, dairy and bakery sections, and officials said the improvements also bring in more modern and environmentally friendly design elements, including natural and LED lighting.
“Whether you’re a current Aldi customer or you haven’t stopped by your local Aldi lately, we invite you to come experience the new Aldi look and see how we’ve expanded our fresh offerings while staying true to our everyday low prices,” said Scott Huska, Denton division vice president for Aldi.
