Realtors gather for awards, trade show

STILLWATER — The Oklahoma Association of Realtors presented awards at its recent annual conference and trade show in Stillwater.

• Realtor of the Year: Debbie Lynn Benton of Marlow, broker-owner of Marlow Real Estate, for service to the community and as a Realtor for nearly 20 years.

• Community Rock Star Award Winners, for going “above and beyond to fulfill the needs of their communities”: Mary Huckeby, Huckeby & Associates Realtors, Ada Board of Realtors, for her work with Abba’s Tables Inc.; Melissa Jan Jones of Pryor, Lakeland Properties Real Estate LLC, Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors, for her work with Hope House; and Joyce Weaver of Broken Arrow, McGraw Realtors, Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors for her work with McGraw Women Build.

• Life Member Award Winners, for “consistent dedication and commitment” to the Oklahoma Association of Realtors for at least 30 years: Margaret Barton, Margaret Barton & Associates Real Estate Inc., Ada Board of Realtors; Hollis Lloyd of Midwest City, Diamonds Realty Inc., Mid-Del-Moore Association of Realtors; and Walter Givens of Newalla, Team Realtors, Mid-Del-Moore Association of Realtors.

• Legislators of the Year Award Winners: State Rep. Josh Cockroft, R-Tecumseh, and Sen. Stephanie Bice, R-Oklahoma City.

• Harriett Wagnon Association Executive Achievement Award: Mike Cotrill, Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors.
