Man dies after home invasion shooting
A man who was shot after a Wednesday home invasion at an Oklahoma City apartment complex has died, police report.
Jason Endres, 31, died Friday at an Oklahoma City hospital, police said.
On Wednesday morning, witnesses told police two men kicked in a door at Apartment 1809 at Raindance Apartments, near NW 122 and Pennsylvania Avenue, and pistol-whipped a 17-yearold boy inside the apartment.
As the men fled, Endres walked out of his own apartment. One of the two men shot Endres, who was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
Later that day, police arrested Lorenzo Eastland, 25, on a number of criminal complaints, including robbery, assault with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon. Eastland is being held without bail at the Oklahoma County jail on a murder complaint.

Man dies after assault at home
A home health care worker is being accused of murder after a patient died following an alleged assault, police say.
On Dec. 14, Oklahoma City police officers responding to an assault report were told that Michael Richard, 75, had been assaulted by a home healthcare aide at his home at 2501 NW 32. An arrest warrant was issued for healthcare worker Rocky Allen Rhines, 55. Rhines was arrested Tuesday in Perry on a complaint of abuse by a caretaker.
On Thursday, police were notified that Richard had died at Saint Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City. Police are treating Richard’s death as a homicide.

Man charged in fatal shooting
A Norman man was charged Friday with first-degree murder in the November shooting death of a transgender woman. Brandon Michael Tyson, 31, is accused of killing Brooklyn BreYanna Stevenson, 31, inside an Oklahoma City motel room early Nov. 27. Stevenson was shot multiple times, police reported.
Investigators later received an anonymous tip that Tyson shot and killed Stevenson, police reported. A witness also heard Tyson say he got in a fight with the victim and shot her, according to a court affidavit.
Tyson was arrested Dec. 21. He is held without bail in the Oklahoma County jail.
Oklahoma County prosecutors also charged Tyson on Friday with an alternative count of second-degree murder related to the shooting.
