OC makes deal with Tree of Life Bookstores

- FROM STAFF REPORTS

Oklahoma Christian University has entered into a new course materials and campus store partnership with Tree of Life Bookstores. The transition to Tree of Life is scheduled for late February.

The partnership is aimed at providing students with more affordable course material solutions while expanding the selection of branded apparel and merchandise inside the remodeled campus store coming this summer, the university said.

Tree of Life will offer its Textbook Butler service to students. This free service allows students to receive all course materials delivered to their campus residences before classes begin. Students will have the option of choosing new, used, rented or digital preferences for course materials.

According to Scott LaMascus, vice president for academic affairs at OC, the new partnership will offer OC students additional options for finding necessary books and course materials for modern college courses.

Tree of Life Bookstores, based in Marion, Indiana, is a privately held company that has served private campuses for 20 years.
