Compared to last week: Feeder steers over 800 lbs. steady to $1 lower; under 800 lbs. steady to $3 higher. Feeder heifers steady to $4 higher. Demand moderate to good for feeder cattle. Steer lightly tested and a lower undertone noted. Heifer calves lightly tested but a higher undertone noted. Demand moderate to good. Quality average to attractive. Weather continues extremely dry and many pulling wheat cattle early. Feeder cattle coming off of short wheat in medium to fleshy conditions. Slight chance of moisture for Tuesday but totals expected to be minimal. Feeder cattle supply included 71 percent Steers, 28 percent Heifers, and 0 percent Bulls.
