Made in Oklahoma Fest is Satur­day

The an­nual Made in Oklahoma Fest will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Satur­day at the Reed Con­fer­ence Cen­ter, 5750 Will Rogers Road. The event show­cases Oklahoma-grown prod­ucts, ser­vices and artis­tic tal­ent, said Chris Moler, fes­ti­val direc­tor for the Mid­west City Parks and Re­cre­ation Depart­ment.

The fes­ti­val will in­clude both in­door and out­door live en­ter­tain­ment by 14 lo­cal bands, in­clud­ing the Red Dirt Rangers.

Car and mo­tor­cy­cle en­thu­si­asts can regis­ter for the Mother Road Car Show sched­uled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. En­trants will com­pete for awards in var­i­ous cat­e­gories. At­ten­dees can pur­chase com­mem­o­ra­tive fes­ti­val glass­ware and 10 tast­ing to­kens for $22 at the event to sam­ple from nine winer­ies and a va­ri­ety of home brew and craft beers. Park­ing and ad­mis­sion are free. Chil­dren are wel­come, but there are no spe­cific chil­dren’s ac­tiv­i­ties.
