Catch Heard on Hurd while you can
EDMOND — Citizens Bank of Edmond’s Heard on Hurd will have its final event of the 2018 season from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday in downtown Edmond.
The season finale event will feature a “Fall Festival” theme.
The festival will expand one block south on Broadway to Second Street and include a cornhole tournament hosted by Cafe Evoke.
Project Princess will be at the event, along with the Oklahoma City Zoo for a meet and greet with some furry creatures. The Edmond Fire Department also will be on-site with activities from the Kid’s Safety Village. Various street performers will entertain at the intersection of Broadway and Main.
More than 30 food trucks will be available, including Big O’s BBQ, Filipino Fusion, Mighty Corndog, Mission: InPasta-Bowl, Chef Rays Street Eats, Blue J’s Rollin Grill, Saucee Sicilian, Snow S’more, The Brown’s Kitchen, Let’s Do Greek and more.
The evening also will include local boutique pop-ups, including Nixxen Rayne Boutique, Dallas’s Designs: 405 Mobile boutique, ModernGlitz Jewelry, Wooden Lace, Oklahoma Shirt Co., Metro Pins, Cargo Room and others.
The featured nonprofit for the October event will be Edmond Family Counseling, whose mission is to help clients thrive throughout each stage of their life development.

The Heard on Hurd musical lineup will include Tyler Sexton, an R&B pop artist from Oklahoma City; The Lunar Laugh, a powerpop Folk Rock band based in Oklahoma City; and Adam & Kizzie, a native Oklahoman couple without a genre-specific box to pin their music to.
