Senior Day: A look at Oklahoma’s seniors

Here’s a look at each of Oklahoma’s seniors (doesn’t include Prentice McKinney, who is injured and has a redshirt year available):

Jonathan Alvarez, OL

Alvarez started 16 games during his career at center and guard but injuries ended his senior season prematurel­y.

Rodney Anderson, RB

Anderson is not a senior but recently declared for the NFL Draft after suffering a season-ending knee injury in September. Anderson rushed for 1,161 yards and 13 touchdowns last year.

Nick Basquine, WR

The former walk-on from Norman North has 24 catches for 320 yards and two touchdowns during his career at OU.

Curtis Bolton, LB

After a series of injuries helped keep him off the field for much of his first four seasons, Bolton broke into the starting lineup this year and is Oklahoma’s second-leading tackler.

Alex Dalton, OL

Dalton played in 17 games, starting the 2016 season opener, but three ACL tears limited his playing time.

Kahlil Haughton, S

Haughton broke into the starting lineup this year and is third on the team in tackles. Carson Meier, FB

After playing behind Dimitri Flowers for much of his career, Meier has been an integral part of OU’s offense this year.

Quinn Mittermeie­r, OL

The tackle from Topeka, Kansas has played in 34 games, mostly on special teams.

Chase Nevel, WR

The walk-on from Catoosa has appeared in sven games during his career and has two catches.

Ben Powers, OL

After not having Division I offers out of high school, Powers quickly made his mark in junior college, making his way to OU where he’s an Outland Trophy semifinali­st this year.

Dru Samia, OL

Samia began has a starter at tackle as a freshman before moving inside, where he’s been a mainstay.

Austin Seibert, K/P

Seibert has been the Sooners’ kicker and punter since he arrived on campus and recently became OU’s all-time leading scorer.

Marcelias Sutton, RB

Sutton ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns this year before a broken leg ended his final season.

Myles Tease, WR

The former walk-on from Tulsa Booker T. Washington has started two games this season and has seven catches for 75 yards and a touchdown.

Reggie Turner, WR

The walk-on from Pasadena, Texas has a 16-yard catch this year.
