Cop ar­rested on child sex abuse com­plaint

NICOMA PARK — A po­lice of­fi­cer has been ar­rested on a child sex abuse com­plaint, the Ok­la­homa Bureau of In­ves­ti­ga­tion re­ported.

Michael Lind­sey, 35, is ac­cused of abus­ing sep­a­rate vic­tims since 2008 in Ok­la­homa, Illinois and Ten­nessee, the bureau re­ported.

An in­ves­ti­ga­tion ini­ti­ated by OSBI has in­volved Illinois and Ten­nessee law of­fi­cers.

On Wed­nes­day, OSBI agents and po­lice de­tec­tives from Fairview Heights, Illinois, ar­rested Lind­sey at his home in Har­rah.

Lind­sey was booked into the Ok­la­homa County jail on a com­plaint of child sex abuse and bail set at $10,000. A search war­rant was served on his res­i­dence, and the in­ves­ti­ga­tion will con­tinue, OSBI re­ported.
