Cop arrested on child sex abuse complaint
NICOMA PARK — A police officer has been arrested on a child sex abuse complaint, the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation reported.
Michael Lindsey, 35, is accused of abusing separate victims since 2008 in Oklahoma, Illinois and Tennessee, the bureau reported.
An investigation initiated by OSBI has involved Illinois and Tennessee law officers.
On Wednesday, OSBI agents and police detectives from Fairview Heights, Illinois, arrested Lindsey at his home in Harrah.
Lindsey was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a complaint of child sex abuse and bail set at $10,000. A search warrant was served on his residence, and the investigation will continue, OSBI reported.
