Sod House presents pioneer Christmas
Visitors can celebrate Christmas the pioneer way at the Sod House Museum’s Christmas open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 15. Festivities will include songs, traditional decorations and Christmas and Southern Gospel music by Gary Booze of Aline.
The Sod House will be decorated for a traditional 1890s pioneer Christmas. Cookies and hot cider will be provided by the Friends of the Sod House, which also will sponsor a drawing for a quilt.
The Sod House Museum is located southeast of Aline on State Highway 8. For more information contact Director Renee Trindle at 580-463-2441 or sod[email protected] okhistory.org.
