Sod House presents pi­o­neer Christ­mas

Vis­i­tors can cel­e­brate Christ­mas the pi­o­neer way at the Sod House Mu­seum’s Christ­mas open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 15. Fes­tiv­i­ties will in­clude songs, tra­di­tional dec­o­ra­tions and Christ­mas and South­ern Gospel mu­sic by Gary Booze of Aline.

The Sod House will be dec­o­rated for a tra­di­tional 1890s pi­o­neer Christ­mas. Cook­ies and hot cider will be pro­vided by the Friends of the Sod House, which also will spon­sor a draw­ing for a quilt.
