King holiday activities
Several houses of worship will host activities in conjunction with Martin Luther King Jr. Day, while other activities with a faith component are also planned. The following events are free unless otherwise noted:
Jan. 20
“Martin Luther King Jr. Mass and Celebration,” Sunday, 11 a.m., Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1616 N Kelley. Information: 236-4301.
“Martin Luther King 2018 Church Celebration,” 3 p.m., St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 5700 N Kelley.

“Midwest City Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast,” Sheraton Midwest City Reed Center, 5750 Will Rogers Road, Doors open at 7 a.m., program at 8 a.m., tickets are $20 and available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at Midwest City Community Center, 200 N Midwest Blvd. Information: 739-1293; Martin L.
