King holiday activities

Several houses of worship will host activities in conjunctio­n with Martin Luther King Jr. Day, while other activities with a faith component are also planned. The following events are free unless otherwise noted:

Jan. 20

“Martin Luther King Jr. Mass and Celebratio­n,” Sunday, 11 a.m., Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1616 N Kelley. Informatio­n: 236-4301.

“Martin Luther King 2018 Church Celebratio­n,” 3 p.m., St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 5700 N Kelley.
