Q&A with Jeremie Kubicek
GiANT Worldwide co-founder Jeremie Kubicek answers questions about the 100X Leader Summit in Oklahoma City this week.
Q: There’s an opportunity to attend a leadership summit in Oklahoma City this week. What is the 100X Leader Summit?
A: The 100X Leader Summit will highlight the powerful concepts and ideas of GiANT co-founders, Jeremie Kubicek and Steve Cockram, authors of the popular 5 Voices and 5 Gears books. The summit will focus on helping attendees learn how to become someone worth following. Using the Sherpa metaphor from Mount Everest, Steve and I will take attendees on a practical journey with useful visual tools and interviews with effective leaders as well as others who are learning how to lead themselves. The half-day summit will have exercises, tools and resources that attendees will be able to use immediately. After years of running the Chick-fil-A, Leadercast and the Catalyst Conferences, GiANT is bringing this new format to Oklahoma City.
Q: What makes this event special?
A: Oklahoma City has the privilege of being the live filming site of this global leadership broadcast. Only 1,000 people will have the chance to experience the live filming on Jan. 18, which will be broadcast in March to thousands of leaders around the world. The three-hour event will give attendees practical and sticky tools that they will never forget. Like other offerings GiANT brings, the summit will inspire attendees to live and lead in all areas of their life, giving them tools that they will use the very next day.
Q: Toward whom is the summit geared?
A: This event is for every person that wants to grow — from the team or organization leader to a leader of families. The goal is to equip people to become people that others want to follow, not have to follow. The summit will include main stage content from Steve and me, as well as key videos and interviews and an opportunity to network with other Oklahoma professionals. The $25 ticket price includes a pre-order of the 100X Leader book, coffee, breakfast and truly world-class content.
