Livestock report from the Oklahoma City Stockyards: Receipts: 9,200; Last Week: 10,558; Year ago: 8,292 Compared to last week: Feeder steers $3-$5 lower. Feeder heifers steady to $2 higher. Steer and heifer calves $2-$4 lower. Demand moderate to good. Active bidding on heavier heifers so far. Quality average to attractive with a fair amount of larger lots of long weaned, home raised cattle on offer. Heavy rain and snowfall swept across the trade area late last week and over the weekend increasing the already muddy conditions. Feedyards anticipating upcoming freezing rain and cold windchills forecasted in the near future as well. Feeder cattle supply included 68 percent Steers, and 32 percent Heifers. Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 76 percent. Please note: these trends and Monday receipts are through 3 p.m. and are subject to change.
