- BY KIMBERLY BURK

ARCADIA — Singersongwriters T.Z. Wright and Anne Luna will present acoustic music from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the groundfloor museum of the Arcadia Round Barn.

Wright, who divides his time between Nor- man and Mooreland, is a longtime member of the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival House Band. Luna, a bass player who lives in Fort Sumner, New Mexico, is a vocalist with the group Hard Road Trio.

Wright describes his music as “country-influenced Americana” and has performed at the Norman Music Festival, GFest in Muskogee and the Skyline Music Festival in Tulsa. He has appeared at the Blue Door in Oklahoma City and Bob Childer’s Gypsy Café in Stillwater, and in the mid-1970s he led the first house band at The Motherlode in Red River, New Mexico.

Luna has performed at the Desert Bluegrass Festival in Tucson, the Santa Fe Old Time and Bluegrass Festival, the Black Hills Bluegrass Festival and at Poor David’s Pub in Dallas. She has recorded with such musicians as Alan Munde, Kenny Maines and Amanda Shires. She said she was “harmonizing in her mother’s lap before attending school, playing bar gigs before she was of legal drinking age and touring before she could rent a car.”

Wright and Luna will be joined in the performance by Midwest City singersongwriter Joe Baxter, who coordinates live music at the Round Barn.

The Arcadia Round Barn is six miles east of Interstate 35 on Route 66. Admission is free, but donations are accepted for the maintenance of the barn, which was built in 1898.
