Anthony (Tony) Lee Hocker was born on October 29, 1963 in Macomb, Illinois to Judy Hocker. Tony spent his early years in Illinois. He moved with his family to Oklahoma in his teens where he attended middle school. The family then moved to Bettendorf, Iowa, where Tony graduated from high school. He joined the Marine Corps right after graduation at the age of seventeen. He remained in the Marines and served honorably for sixteen plus years both active and reserve. During those years he served all over the world and fought during Operation Desert Storm. During his service he attained the rank of Gunnery Sargent. After leaving the Marine Corps, Tony settled in Moore, Oklahoma, where he worked as a valued employee for Best Buy for twenty years. Tony was always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone in need including his extended family and his community. He mentored many young adults both in the military and civilian life instilling in them the tools they needed to be successful in life. Tony passed away on January 31, 2019. He is survived by his wife Angelia; daughters Tiffany Linnenberg­er and Rebecca Carton; sons Brady Joe Fieldcamp and Brett Fieldcamp; granddaugh­ters Sophia and Olivia Linnenberg­er; grandson Michael Carton; mother Judy Morrison; stepfather Del Morrison; sisters Rachel Lebeda and Rindy Margiotta; brothers Chris Hocker and Trey Morrison; son-in-law Luke Linnenberg­er; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Tony was a true patriot, a good friend to all and a truly great man. Visitation will be Friday February 8th from 9 am to 9 pm at John Ireland Funeral Home, 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK. The funeral will be on Saturday February 9th at 2 o’clock at John Ireland Funeral Home. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
