Students also visited Arlington National Cemetery and witnessed the changing of the guard, as well as a night walking tour of the monuments on the National Mall and the White House.

The highlight of the trip was a youth rally and Mass with more than 6,000 youth, followed by the March for Life itself. The march included more than 300,000 people marching for the rights and dignity of all from conception until natural death. The students from Bishop McGuinness marched with Coakley, representatives from the archdiocese and students from Cristo Rey and Mount St. Mary high schools.
