Three suspects have been identified in a February gunfight that killed a 20-year-old man.

K es haw nD em ont a Franklin, 23, of Oklahoma City, is in custody at the Oklahoma County jail on complaints of seconddegree murder, felon in possession of a fire arm and gang association. Arrest warrants have been issued for Marquis Smith, 18, and Jaylen Brown, 18, both of Midwest City, for complaints of first-degree murder, gang assoc iati on and possession of a fire arm while in commission of a felony.

The three men are wanted in the Feb. 17 death of Marlo Goodman ,20. Police reported in a court affidavit that Goodman was killed when a gunfight broke out among gang members near a hookah lounge at 2340 NW 23.

Brown, Smith and Goodman were kicked out of the lounge for a physical al t ercation with an unknown group, according to the affidavit. They moved north to a nearby apartment complex parking lot, where a large group started to gather.

In a police interview, Brown claimed two Crip gang members ambushed him, Smith and Goodman with gunfire. He identified the men as Franklin and Byron Rhodes, both of whom are documented gang members, according to the affidavit.

A witness at the scene said Franklin was the first to fire a weapon by shooting two to four shots into the air before fleeing, police reported. More people began exchanging shots, with one fatally striking Goodman, according to the affidavit.

Another man, Bashir Bell, 33, suffered a gunshot wound, but he was able to drive himself to a hospital for treatment.

The witness reported seeing Brown and Smith firing guns during the shooting but didn't see Rhodes with a weapon, according to the affidavit. Police said Brown and Smith are known gang members.

Franklin was adjudi cat ed as a youthful offender in 2012 for a charge of shooting with intent to kill. He is serving a five- year deferred sentence for two separate felony firearms cases in Oklahoma County.

Court records show no previous charges against Smith and Brown.
