OKC falls to Nashville 13-6

Andy Ibanez doubled and singled twice, driving in three runs and scoring a pair as the Nashville Sounds defeated the Oklahoma City Dodgers 13-6 on Wednesday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Zack Granite doubled and singled three times with four runs for Nashville.

Nashville started the scoring in the first inning when Matt Davidson hit an RBI single and then scored on a double by Ibanez.

After Nashville added two runs in the second, the Dodgers cut into the deficit in the second inning when Kyle Garlick hit a solo home run.

The Sounds later scored in three more innings to put the game out of reach, including four runs in the fourth and eighth innings. In the fourth, Jose Trevino drove in two runs and Ibanez drove in one, while Trevino drove in two runs and Willie Calhoun drove in one in the eighth.

Nashville starter Seth Maness (1-1) picked up the win despite allowing four runs and seven hits over five innings. Opposing starter Brock Stewart (0-3) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game after a rough outing in which he allowed seven runs and eight hits over 3 innings.

Garlick homered twice, driving in three runs and scoring a pair for the Dodgers. Will Smith singled three times.

With the win, Nashville took a 2-0 lead in the four-game series. The Sounds beat Oklahoma City 4-2 on Tuesday.
