More accusations arise against former assistant principal

- Staff reports

A former Norman High School assistant principal accused of drugging and raping a woman allegedly molested his accuser's daughter while she pretended to sleep, according to a court affidavit.

Robert Brian Davis was charged Monday in Canadian County District Court with two counts of sexual battery stemming from the woman's complaint that he drugged her and sexually assaulted her when she came over to watch his house.

The woman told police she thought something had been mixed in a drink and she passed out at his home in Canadian County on May 23, waking up the next day. She said Davis called and told her he had put alcohol in her drink, according to a police report.

A nurse who examined the woman that day determined she had dip hen hydra mine, an antihistamine found in Benadryl, and Zolpidem, a sedative used to treat insomnia, in her system, a detective reported in an arrest warrant affidavit.

The woman denied taking a sedative, the detective reported.

During the interview, the woman said one of her daughters had lived with Davis and his wife for several years so “she could go to Yukon schools.”

The daughter disclosed that one night she was sleeping when Davis came into the bedroom and pulled down her shorts and pulled up her shirt, the detective reported.

The daughter said Davis told her “he knew he had a problem but promised this type of behavior would never happen again,” the detective reported.
