Tulsa Edison's Morrison commits to Nebraska

- Staff reports

Tulsa Edison star running back Se vi on Morrison was surrounded by his family at a table ready to make his choice in front of the school and live on his Instagram.

He wasted little time putting on the redhat with a white “N.”

Morrison announced his decision to commit to Nebraska on Thursday, choosing the Huskers over Arkansas, Baylor and Kansas.

“The reason I chose Nebraska is one thing I'm big on is trust,” Morrison told his classmates. “I don't think there' s another coaching staff keeping it real like that.”

A 6- foot, 187- pound running back who burst onto the scene last year with 2,728 rushing yards and 35 touch downs, Morrison has been known to captivate the state. He rushed for more than 1,700 yards and 26 touchdowns in the final five games of the regular season.

He then exploded on the recruiting scene in the off season. He is ranked No.6 on The Oklahoman's Super 30 rankings of the state's top recruits in the 2020 class.
