Dodgers, Sounds split doublehead­er

The Oklahoma City Dodgers split their doublehead­er against the Nashville Sounds on Tuesday at Chickasaw Brick town Ballpark.

The first contest of the day was the completion of a game that was suspended in the fourth inning on May 10. The Dodgers, who had a 4-0 lead before the game was stopped, beat the Sounds 10-4 in the opener.

Nashville bounced back with a 13-8 victory in the second game.

Nashville's Patrick Wisdom and Matt Davidson had nearly identical performanc­es at the plate in game two. Each had three hits, including one home run, with three RBIs and two runs scored.

James Jones ( 1- 0) got the win with 1 2/3 innings of scoreless, one-hit relief while Kevin Quackenbus­h (2-5) took the loss.

The teams had their fourth contest of the fivegame series on Wednesday night.
