MIDWEST CITY Benefit hope walk set
HDSA' s Oklahoma Chapter is hosting a Huntington's disease fundraising event called the Oklahoma City Team Hope Walk on Sept. 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Rotary Pavilion in Midwest City. Check-in for the event is at 1 p.m.
The Team Hope Walk Program is HDSA's signature grassroots fundraising campaign designed to provide hope and support for those touched by the disease.

OKLAHOMA CITY Free immunizations offered
The Oklahoma Caring Vans provide all immunizations required by Oklahoma law for enrollment in schools or childcare facilities. Services are provided at no charge to children, ages six weeks through 18 years, who qualify; this includes children who are uninsured, Medicaid eligible or American Indian.
Immunizations are given on a first come, first served basis. For each child immunized, a parent or guardian must be present to provide current shot records and to complete paperwork.

Talk set on Medicaid
Lynne White, vice president of government relations and political action for the Oklahoma Hospital, will be the next speaker at the National Alliance on Mental Illness Ed Talks.
White is coordinating efforts among Oklahoma's hospitals to participate in the State Question 802 petition drive to allow Oklahomans to vote to expand Medicaid in the 2020 election cycle.
Ed Talks are scheduled for the Second Tuesday of the month at Integris Cancer Center, 5911 W Memorial Road. Talks are from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. No registration is required. There is no charge.
