3-2-1 KICK OFF

- Jacob Unruh, Staff writer

Here's what to look for when Oklahoma State hosts No. 18 Baylor at 3 p.m. Saturday for homecoming:

3 players to watch

Kolby Harvell-Peel: The sophomore safety left the Texas Tech game with what appeared to a leg injury, but he said he's healthy this week. Good thing, considering he's the anchor in the secondary against a Baylor offense that has six receivers with 10 or more receptions. Jordan McCray: The 6-foot-6 receiver has just nine receptions, but coach Mike Gundy wants to get his big, tall receivers opposite star Tylan Wallace more involved. It starts with McCray, who showed off some nifty moves on a long touchdown at Texas Tech.

Amen Ogbongbemiga: Baylor quarterback Charlie Brewer has improved as a passer this season, but he remains perhaps more dangerous with his legs. Ogbongbemiga could draw the assignment to spy Brewer, much like he did at Texas against Sam Ehlinger.

2 big questions

Can OSU's offensive line hold up against Baylor's pass rush? The Bears lead the Big 12 in sacks (23) and have 52 tackles for loss. Against a Cowboys offensive line that has shuffled to overcome injuries and allowed Texas Tech to sack quarterback Spencer Sanders seven times, that could be trouble. But if Dylan Galloway returns, the line is back intact.

Can OSU's pass rush get to Brewer? While Baylor has been piling up sacks, the Cowboys haven't. They enter with just eight sacks on the season, but they'll need to dial up some pressure on Brewer and Co. Do that and good things likely happen, such as turnovers, short possessions and better field position for the offense.

1 wild prediction

OSU totals four sacks. The Cowboys have yet to surpass three sacks in a game this season, but this feels like the perfect time to change that and flip the script on the Bears. OSU's speed on the edge matches up well to have a big game.
