Donations sought for parks
NICHOLS HILLS — Parks Inc., which has helped Nichols Hills maintain city parks, has been unable to conduct its annual fundraising programs due to COVID-19 and is asking residents to consider making donations.
Parks Inc. was organized in 1983 to assist the city in maintaining and beautifying the parks. Volunteer board members of Parks Inc. have helped by administering applications for donations to the parks, coordinating the adoption of parks by volunteers, and by raising funds for the parks to provide maintenance and beautification that is not otherwise already provided by the city.
In the absence of fundraising programs, such as the Garden Tour, anyone wishing to make a donation to Parks Inc. may do so online via PayPal at https://tinyurl.com/parksinc. All donations made will go directly to Parks Inc.
