A documentary centering on former OU gymnast Maggie Nichols' sexual assault allegations against Larry Nassar of USA Gymnastics will be released June 24 on Netflix. Nichols was the first to report abuse by Nassar, who was sentenced in 2018 to up to 175 years in prison. Along with Nichols, notable gymnasts Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas and McKay la Maroney reported Nassar of assault.

OKLAHOMA STATE: The men's basketball roster continues to largely remain intact. Kalib Boone, Chris Harris Jr. and Avery Anderson III all announced Wednesday that they will remain with the program despite the NCAA's oneyear postseason ban. The Cowboys will lose forward Hidde Roessink. He intends to enter the transfer portal, a source told The Oklahoman.

All players are eligible to transfer due to the penalties, which OSU will appeal. Even No. 1-ranked recruit Cade Cunningham could go elsewhere.

OKLAHOMA: Oregon hasn't exactly been one of OU football's recruiting hotbeds. But the Sooners made inroads there Wednesday, picking up a commitment from three-star defensive end Nathan Rawlins-Kibonge. The 6-foot-7, 240-pounder had offers from nine Pac 12 schools and Tennessee and Nebraska, among others.

CENTRAL OKLAHOMA: Standout pitcher Dylan Hall will bypass his senior baseball season, signing a free agent contract with the New York Mets. The 6-foot5, 225-pound right-hander from Stafford, Virginia, was 4-1 with a 3.00 earned run average before this season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. He had 45 strikeouts in 30 innings.

USAO: Oklahoma City couple Guy and Caroline Patton have donated $40,000 that will go toward refurbishsing tennis courts at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Due to budget cuts, the courts have not been maintained regularly. The gift will help add perimeter fencing and windscreens as well as resurfacing and repainting the courts.

NCAA: After weeks of discussion, the Division I football oversight committee finalized its recommendation for summer athletic activities and preseason practice for the upcoming 2020 season. The model will be acted on by the Division I Council next Wednesday. It assumes COVID-19 local and state health policies are considered at the institutional level.

Under the proposed model, assuming a school's first scheduled football game is Sept. 5, student-athletes might be required to participate in up to eight hours of weight training, conditioning and film review per week from July 13-23. Then, from July 24 through Aug. 6, student-athletes might be required to participate in up to 20 hours of countable athletically related activities per week.

ETC. The Southern Heritage Classic has canceled the Sept. 12 football game scheduled between

Tennessee State and Jackson State in the first known Division I cancellation because of the coronavirus pandemic. The game was scheduled for the Liberty Bowl in Memphis.
