Crossings will host leadership simulcast
For the 19th consecutive year, Crossings Community Church will be a host site for The Global Leadership Summit (GLS) on Aug. 6-7.
With a unique blend of speakers recognized all
over the world, the summit offers the opportunity to get refreshed, encouraged and equipped to face the new realities in leadership in the coming months.
Individuals and teams may benefit from this kind of transferable training that's as appropriate for businesses and nonprofits as it is for those in church leadership. If attending the event in-person at Crossings Community Church Oklahoma City, 14600 N Portland Ave., is not an option, individuals may attend using the GLS Online experience — tickets grant access to either option.
The simulcast live from Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago will feature insight from a diverse 15-member faculty which includes two Oklahoma pastors: the Rev. Craig Groeschel, author and senior pastor of
Edmond-based Life.Church; and the Rev. Michael Todd, author, social media influencer and lead pastor of Transformation Church in Tulsa. Other speakers will include: Amy Edmondson, professor of leadership and management, Harvard Business School; Marcus Buckingham, bestselling author; Bishop T.D. Jakes, senior pastor of The Potter's House;Paula Faris, senior national correspondent, ABC News; and Kaka, Brazilian retired soccer phenomenon.
