Alexandra Lea Qualls-Mlekush OKLAHOMA CITY In Loving Memory
Sept. 7, 1991- Jan. 20, 2021
Our beloved daughter, Alexandra Lea Qualls-Mlekush, 29, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was found dead in her home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. The cause of her death is still undetermined.
She was born on September 7, 1991, in Edmond, Oklahoma, the daughter of Michael and Holly Qualls.
She graduated from Classen SAS in 2010 with a major in vocal music. She then worked at the Nichols Hills Police Department as a 911 dispatcher and later for Gipson Energy as a truck dispatcher.
Alix was a sweet, artistic woman who saw the world a little differently than most. She was generous and playful. She loved everything girly: clothes, hair, fancy nails and all the things that sparkle. She had a beautiful voice but what she truly loved to do was paint. And she was a prolific painter. She loved butterflies and fairies and most of all, she loved dinosaurs, calling herself the “mother of dinosaurs”. She loved her children with a fierce heart, even when she wasn’t able to be with them.
We will remember her sunshine smile and happy heart. I hope that when you remember her, you remember that a life can be oh-so-short and fragile, whiffed out quickly by a tragic accident.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather Danny Johnson and Ronnie Qualls. Alexandra is survived by her grandmothers Lydia Dulaney and Joanne Qualls, parents Michael and Holly Qualls, sister Michaela Qualls and two children who she adored, Liam and Lydia Mlekush; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her services will be on Sunday, February 7, at 2:30 pm at Crown Heights United Methodist Church. Due to COVID-19, the services will be limited to 25 attendees. Those unable to join us in person are invited to stream her services on the churches facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ CrownHeightsUMC
Her remains will be laid to rest at her family’s farm where a memorial garden will be planted in her honor.
