Pokusevski among four OKC players heading to G League bubble

Thunder rookie Aleksej Pokusevski will join the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League bubble on Tuesday.

Thunder guard Ty Jerome and two-way pl ayers Moses Brown and Josh Hall are also heading to the bubble in Orlando, Thunder coach Mark Daigneault announced Monday.

Pokusevski, drafted 17 th overall, has struggled offensive ly in his first 16 NBA games. The 7- foot forward is shooting just 25% from the floor and 19% from 3-point range.

He' s averaging 2.7 turnovers and 2.6 assists per 36 minutes.

Despite that, Po ku se vs ki' s playing ti me has been consistent for the rebuilding Thunder.

He's averaging 17 minutes per game.

But the organizati­on decided the G League would be a better setting for Pokusevski to develop.

The Blue will play 15 games in the Orlando bubble.

It will open the season Feb. 11 against the Salt Lake City Stars.

Nikola Jokic matched his career high with 47 points and fast-starting Denver beat Utah on Sunday to end the NBA's longest winning streak of the season. Jokic was 17 for 26 from the field, hit all four of his 3-point attempts, made 9 of 10 free throws and had 12 rebounds and five assists.
