Workshops

Seed Starting Workshop: 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 20, Myriad Botanical Gardens, The Garden Classroom, 301 W Reno Ave. Brad Fowler, horticultu­rist, will teach how to grow annual flowers, native perennials, vegetables and herbs from seed, plus techniques for potting, watering and lighting. Cost: $15 for members, $20 for nonmembers. Masks and social distancing required. Register by Wednesday at www.myriadgard­ens.org Greenhouse Constructi­on & Operation: 1 to 3 p.m.

Feb. 28, Will Rogers Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36. Michael Friday will present informatio­n on planning, constructi­on and operation-maintenanc­e of a hobbyist greenhouse. Age 18+. Cost $5. Register at www.OKCparks.gov, Event ID: 35870. Mask wearing required.
