David A. Segobia

WARR ACRES - Arthur David Segobia, aka David A Segobia, of Warr Acres, Oklahoma, 68, passed away February 21, 2021. He was born Januar y 11, 1953, in Omaha, Nebraska. Survived by Skeeter Owen, Jennifer Searcy, and Katlyn Searcy of the home; his siblings, Michael, Pamela, and Joel Segobia; nieces and nephews; and stepchildren, Sheri, Amy, and Craig Rinker. David was preceded in death by his wife, Kathlyn Segobia, and his parents, Joseph and Dorothy Segobia. He fought a brave battle with Esophageal cancer, until our Lord decided to bring him home. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, February 26, 2021 at Mercer-Adams Funeral Home, Bethany, OK. Live streaming available for those unable to attend. He will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Oklahoma City, OK. David had many talents; writer, teacher, reader to the blind, truck driver, and retired from Gulfport Energy as a Reservoir Engineering Technician. David’s family, friends, and many others whose life he touched will remember and love him always. David was the kind of man you enjoyed being around and could always count on. He shared his great sense of humor, love of music and the arts, and his well-timed wit. He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed. The family is grateful for the compassion and care given by the wonderful staff of Mercy Oncolgy Team and Skeeter Owen as his companion and caregiver.
