-

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association announced Tuesday i ts guidelines for fans in relation to the basketball and wrestling state tournaments at State Fair Arena.

OS SA A executive director David Jackson, associate director Mike W haley and assistant director David G lover held a Zoom meeting with media members to discuss the changes.

There will be a 25% capacity, or a little less than 2,200 fans, allowed into the arena for each game. There will be no floor seating unlike in previous years. The State Fair staff, in conjunction with the Oklahoma County Health Department, set the capacity limits the OSSAA has to follow to be able to host competitions.

For basketball, the arena will be cleared and sanitized between games.

Tickets will be $ 5 per game. Tickets for games at State Fair Arena will be sold online only.

Participating schools will have links to send to parents and fans for tickets sales. A link for the general public will be made starting 24 hours before each round.

Capacity limits have yet to be set for Class 6A/5A basketball championships f or Saturday at Mabee Center in Tulsa, but those details will be announced later this week.

Competition passes, also known as coaches passes, will not be allowed at State Fair Arena. This is to help allot more tickets to individual schools and their fans.

Masks or face coverings will be required for entry and for everyone during competitions. State Fair and OS SA A staff will remove f ans who don't comply with the mask rule.
