He is survived by his children: Jessica Hurley, Jasmine Hurley, and Jordan Hurley; grandchildren: Rose Braly and Adrianna Hurley; brothers: William Hurley and Jeremy Hurley; stepmom: Jery Bethany, and his nephew, Will Larson. Dale attended Goddard High School and New Mexico State University, earning a Business Degree. He spent most of his adult life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he co-founded a successful wholesale food distribution company, Express Meat Company. Dale had returned to Roswell and was employed at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home & Crematory as a part of the family. The family’s he served loved him dearly. Dale was a great asset to the funeral industry.

A highlight of Dale’s life was the adoption of three sibling girls as infants ( Jessica, Jasmine, and Jordan). He was a loving, understanding, and compassionate father. These young women will dearly miss Dale as they navigate life without his support and love. His toddler granddaughters, Rose and Adrianna, will miss out on a grandfather’s love.

One of Dale’s great joys in life was spending time with his many friends, especially life-long best friends - Donnie, Robert, and Mike. His friends and family will fondly remember Dale’s infectious laugh, quick wit, and big personality. He was always the life of the party, and there was never a dull moment in his presence. Dale was an avid sports fan, and his love for the Dallas Cowboys was well known. His love of dogs was also well known, and we know he is surrounded by a pack of dogs demanding his attention in heaven.
