MIDWEST CITY - Braden Michael O’Rourke, 19, of Midwest City, died Saturday, April 10, 2021.

The family will greet friends and relatives 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Bishop Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2021, at Bishop Chapel of Memories officiated by Mr. Kelly Benson and Mr. Steve Weeks. Cremation will follow.

Braden was born to David Jesse and Becky Ann (O’Neal) O’Rourke September 5, 2001 in Tulsa. Attended Frink School in McAlester then moved to Noble and attended Noble Schools through junior high and graduated from Choctaw High School in Choctaw with the class of 2020. He then attended Rose State College in Midwest City.

He enjoyed building computers and was awaiting to start his career with Dell Computers in Oklahoma City. Braden enjoyed building and programing computers, playing video games and fishing. He was anxiously awaiting starting his life with Lily Smith. Braden was a member of the Church of Christ.

Braden was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathe­r, Donald O’Rourke, Sr.

He is survived by his father, David O’Rourke of Broken Arrow; mother, Becky O’Rourke of Midwest City; brother, Colton Shackelfor­d and wife, Sarah; nephews, Lincoln Shackelfor­d, Weston Shackelfor­d all of McAlester; paternal grandmothe­r, Francene Hopkins of Sapulpa; paternal aunts, uncles and cousins; maternal grandparen­ts, Mike and Glenda (Beck) O’Neal of McAlester; aunt, Lori Price and husband, Cody of McAlester; cousins Corbyn and Colby Price; numerous other aunts, uncles cousins; close friends, Lily Smith and Jalene Jones and other family members and friends.
