OKC National Memorial & Museum plans programs
The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum has planned a month of remembrances and special programs in April.
Following are public events that are scheduled throughout the month:
Friday — 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the Memorial Museum, EYEwitness Tours with Richard Williams, survivor of the Oklahoma City bombing. Hear Richard's personal account and how he's looking back and thinking forward 26 years later.
Saturday — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., National Park Service Junior Ranger Day at the museum.
Monday — 8:45 a.m., Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony at the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum. The ticketed event is only for family members, survivors and first responders due to safety protocols, however, the public may view the entire ceremony on MemorialMuseum.com, Oklahoma City TV stations and Oklahoman.com.
Also, Monday is Cox Community Day at the museum with free admission from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
April 21 — 9 to 11:30 a.m., “History is Relevant” virtual workshop with Robin Gurwitch on supporting students during ever-changing times and understanding today's stressors and moving forward together. This presentation is free and open to the public, but participants must register for the virtual workshop at MemorialMuseum.com/events.
Friday, April 30 — 11 a.m., Ground Zero Emergency Training Center Passing of the Leash Ceremony at the memorial. Twenty-one new canine officers, trained by Ground Zero, will be assigned to their new human officers.

April 20 — “How does your generation respond to injustice?” facilitated by Gloria Griffin, Former Millwood Schools Superintendent
April 27 — “What is the role of forgiveness and remembrance following a personal tragedy?” facilitated by Sara Sweet. Her father, W. Stephen Williams, was killed in the Oklahoma City bombing.
