Ophelia M. Gomez

OKLAHOMA CITY - Ophelia M. Gomez ‘’Aunty’’ entered her Heavenly home on August 17, 2021. She was born April 14, 1926 in Oklahoma City, OK to Juan and Josephine Gomez. She was preceded in passing by her parents and her brothers, Everett, Joe, Sam, and Rey Gomez. Ophelia is survived by her brother Louis Gomez, and sisters Hope McAuliff-Watson and Anna Marie Ellis; along with numerous generations of nieces and nephews. Ophelia graduated from Classen High School, and worked at Wilsons Food Co. for 46 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday (August 27) at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 5024 N. Grove, Oklahoma City, OK 73122.
