Here’s a look at The Oklahoman’s preseason Super 30 rankings for the state’s top high school football prospects in the Class of 2022:

No. 1: Gentry Williams, WR/DB, Tulsa Booker T. Washington, 6-1, 170: The state’s top recruit will look to bounce back from a knee injury that ended his junior season and have a big year.

No. 2: Talyn Shettron, WR, Edmond Santa Fe, 6-3, 180: Initially committed to OU, Shettron flipped to Oklahoma State, where he’ll play alongside his brother and fellow Edmond Santa Fe senior Tabry Shettron.

No. 3: Chris McClellan, DL, Owasso, 6-4, 290: Released a final six of Alabama, Florida, LSU, Ohio State, OU and Southern California earlier this month.

No. 4: Jacob Sexton, OL, Deer Creek, 6-6, 299: He committed to OU in July, choosing the Sooners over Alabama, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M.

No. 5: Maurion Horn, RB/DB, Broken Arrow, 6-0, 168: The Texas Tech commit chose the Red Raiders in July over multiple Division-I offers.

No. 6: Jayden Rowe, DB, Tulsa Union, 6-4, 220: The OU commit is the leader of what should be a stout defense in Class 6A-I.

No. 7: Braylin Presley, RB, Bixby, 5-9, 175: He’ll join his older brother Brennan at Oklahoma State next year.

No. 8: Robert Spears-Jennings, WR/ DB, Broken Arrow, 6-1 1/2, 200: An OU commit, he’s a star on both sides of the ball.

No. 9: CJ Brown, RB, Beggs, 6-1, 180: Domination is one way to describe Brown’s high school career, and the Oklahoma State commit is looking for more this season.

No. 10: Andre Dollar, TE, Mustang, 6-6, 231: The Oregon commit grew up as a defensive coordinato­r’s son and used that knowledge to dominate on the offensive side of the ball.

No. 11: Desean Brown, DL, Choctaw, 6-3, 246: Nicknamed “wild man,” he had a breakout junior season, finishing with 74 tackles and 15 sacks.

No. 12: Gabe Brown, LB, Stillwater, 6-3, 205: The Oklahoma State commit is primed for a huge senior season while trying to lead the Pioneers to the top.

No. 13: Cade McConnell, OL, Choctaw, 6-6, 290: His athleticis­m makes him a unique offensive lineman, and he’s committed to TCU.

No. 14: Jaleel Johnson, DL, Putnam North, 6-4, 240: The Oklahoma State commit is a force that will cause many offenses problems this year.

No. 15: Carson May, QB, Jones, 6-5, 220: The Iowa commit has loved the small-town life and now he’ll try to bring Jones a championsh­ip to cap a great career.

No. 16: Mason Gilkey, WR, Pawhuska, 6-4, 170: The Oklahoma State commit broke out last season but hopes to lead the Huskies to a title this fall.

No. 17: Dontierre Fisher, RB, Checotah, 5-10, 188: Fisher is quiet off the field but under the lights, he turns it on earning him offers from Iowa State, Kansas, Memphis, Nebraska, North Texas and others.

No. 18: Jake Clifton, LB, Owasso, 6-3, 205: The Kansas State commit is part of a strong defense trying to win the Rams’ third title in five seasons.

No. 19: Duncan Parham II, LB, Norman North, 6-4, 225: Duncan Parham played with a broken hand last season and now is ready to show how great he can be fully healed. He holds offers from Kansas, Missouri, North Texas and Tulsa.

No. 20: Tabry Shettron, TE, Edmond Santa Fe, 6-4, 215: The Oklahoma State commit is a rising star and will look to have a big senior year.

No. 21: Corey Gordon, DB, Putnam West, 6-4, 180: A recent Baylor commit, Gordon looks to help lead Putnam West’s rebuild.

No. 22: Jocelyn Malaska, WR, Bethany, 6-2, 175: He’s a lockdown defender and committed to Texas Tech during the summer.

No. 23: NuNu Campbell, DB, Tulsa Holland Hall, 6-0, 180: He helped Class 3A Tulsa Holland Hall last year win its first Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Associatio­n football state title.

No. 24: Xavin Lackey, LB, Vian, 6-1, 218: Holds offers from Dartmouth, Iowa State and Memphis and is the face of Vian’s defense.

No. 25: Maliek Bogard, DL, Beggs, 6-5, 230: He enters his first year at Beggs after suffering a season-ending knee injury last year with Okmulgee.

No. 26: David Rowaiye, DL, Southeast, 6-5, 250: Rowaiye is Southeast’s first Division-I recruit since Gerald McCoy. He holds offers from Baylor, Eastern Michigan and New Mexico.

No. 27: Eli McWilliams, LB, Tahlequah, 6-2, 225: The Tulsa commit had a big offseason and should showcase his improvemen­ts this fall.

No. 28: Davis Dotson, OL, Berryhill, 6-6, 293: His basketball highlights led to his recruiting but he hasn’t looked back since. Dotson holds offers from Arkansas State, Marshall, New Mexico, Syracuse and UNLV.

No. 29: Antonio Smith Jr., DB, Tulsa Union, 5-11, 178: Smith takes pride in being a junior and it’s because his father introduced him to football. The sport has changed his life earning him offers from Eastern Michigan, North Texas and Army.

No. 30: Lane Parks, OL, Yukon, 6-5, 275: The Army commit is hoping to lead the Millers back to the playoffs this season with a new coach. Cameron Jourdan, James D. Jackson and Nick Sardis, Staff writers
