PHILLIES 7, D-backs 4: Freddy Galvis drove in three runs and Rafael Marchand and Travis Jankowski hit back-to-back RBI triples that sent the Philadelph­ia Phillies over the Arizona Diamondbac­ks 7-4 Sunday. Bryce Harper, Jean Segura and Marchand each had two hits for the Phillies.

PIRATES 4, Cardinals 3: Yoshi Tsutsugo hit a three-run homer off Alex Reyes in the ninth inning, sending the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. Bryan Reynolds started the game-ending rally with a leadoff walk.

Rays 12, ORIOLES 8: Joey Wendle hit a pair of homers, including a grand slam, and drove in six runs to lead the Tampa Bay Rays over the Baltimore Orioles 12-8 Sunday for a three-game sweep. Austin Meadows and Jordan Luplow also homered for Tampa Bay, which finished 18-1 against Baltimore this year.

Red Sox at CLEVELAND, late: Cleveland’s lineup has 164 home runs this season. Jose Ramirez leads the club with 30 homers. The Red Sox have gone 34-30 away from home. Boston has slugged .445 this season.

MARLINS 2, Reds 1: Jesús Luzardo allowed one hit and no runs in six-plus innings Sunday, and the Miami Marlins beat the Cincinnati Reds 2-1 to take the rubber game of their series. Luzardo (5-7) had by far his best outing since being acquired from Oakland for Starling Marte at the trade deadline.

Blue Jays 2, TIGERS 1: José Berríos pitched seven strong innings and the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Tigers 2-1 on Sunday, taking two of three in a low-scoring series with Detroit. Bo Bichette and Kevin Smith homered for Toronto, which won 3-2 on Saturday and lost 2-1 on Friday.

METS 9, Nationals 4: Francisco Lindor forced a balk and hit a two-run double, Javier Báez and Jonathan Villar homered and the New York Mets beat the Washington Nationals 9-4 Sunday. The Mets took two of three and won a series for the first time since sweeping the Nationals in a three-game set Aug. 10-12.

BRAVES 9, Giants 0: Jorge Soler and Austin Riley homered off Anthony DeSclafani, Ian Anderson pitched into the sixth inning in his return from the injured list, and the Braves beat the Giants 9-0 on Sunday.

WHITE SOX 13, Cubs 1: Luis Robert homered twice, Dylan Cease tied a career high with 11 strikeouts and the White Sox pounded the Cubs 13-1 on Sunday. Eloy Jiménez, Yasmani Grandal and Brian Goodwin also connected for the White Sox.

Brewers 6, TWINS 2: Rowdy Tellez hit a three-run home run, Aaron Ashby recorded his first major league win, and the Brewers muscled their way out of a threegame losing streak with a 6-2 victory over the Twins on Sunday. Luis Urías also homered and Kolten Wong hit a two-run double for the Brewers.

RANGERS 13, Astros 2: Adolis García hit the first grand slam by a Texas batter in almost two years and DJ Peters had a massive homer while driving in three runs as the rebuilding Rangers avoided being swept by Houston again, beating the AL West-leading Astros 13-2 in the series finale Sunday.

Rockies 5, DODGERS 0: Antonio Senzatela pitched seven sparkling innings, C.J. Cron slugged a three-run homer and the Colorado Rockies beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0 on Sunday, taking two of three from the defending World Series champions.

MARINERS 4, Royals 3: Salvador Perez homered for the fifth consecutiv­e game, but Kyle Seager connected for a two-run drive to help the Seattle Mariners beat the Kansas City Royals 4-3 on Sunday. Seager hit his career-high 31st homer in the seventh inning.

Yankees at ATHLETICS, late: The Athletics are 36-31 on their home turf. Oakland hitters have posted a team on-base percentage of .313 this season, led by Starling Marte with a mark of .389. The Yankees are 37-28 on the road. New York has slugged .402 this season.
