SWOSU blood drive brings in record number
WEATHERFORD — Oklahoma Blood Institute recently announced that the August blood drive at Southwestern Oklahoma State University had the largest number of donors ever at a SWOSU August blood drive.
The drive had 111 people, including 14 first-time donors, registered to give blood. The effort resulted in 99 total donations, with each donation potentially saving three lives. Each donor received a T-shirt and their choice of tickets to the Oklahoma Science Museum, Frontier City or Safari Joe’s.
