MIDWEST CITY - Mills (Reaves), Elizabeth A. of Midwest City died August 31, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Elizabeth was born July 1, 1957 to T.H. ( Tom) and Kathryn Reaves.

Elizabeth graduated from Alton High School in Alton, Missouri and the College of the Ozarks in Clarksvill­e, Arkansas.

Elizabeth struggled with health problems for many years. She received a kidney transplant and was forever grateful to the family who made the transplant possible. She survived breast cancer.

Elizabeth had a varied career. She was especially proud of her time working with the Girl Scouts and her work at Variety Health Center. She made many friends at Variety Health Center where she was famous for her pecan pies. She worked at Variety until her health forced her to retire.

Elizabeth was devoted to her husband, sons, and Labrador Retrievers.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kathryn Deaton Reaves; father, Thomas Harold Reaves; and her sister Mary Hangsleben. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Mills; sons, Jason Mills and Matthew Mills, Matthew’s wife Sophia Mills; sister Pat Reaves; brother David Reaves, his wife Elise Reaves; nephews Christophe­r and Benjamin Hangsleben, Ben’s wife Niki Hangsleben; and nieces Lindsey Lohr, her husband Brett Lohr and Sarah Wade, her husband Chase Wade and two grand nieces.

The best way to honor Elizabeth is to discuss organ donation with your family and sign an organ donor card. A memorial will be held at a future date.
