Sherrie Ann Crites, 80 year old Oklahoma City resident and former Woodward resident, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Oklahoma City. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Elmwood Cemetery with Reverend Donnetta Hunter officiatin­g. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangemen­ts.

Sherrie Ann Crites was born on May 31, 1941 in Woodward, Oklahoma to Wilbur Raymond and Audrey Charlotte (Ball) Crites. She grew up in Woodward and graduated from Woodward High School. Throughout her life Sherrie Ann worked in the medical field. Her first job was at the Woodward Hospital and she later worked at OU Medical Center, Midwest City Emergency Room for J.D. McKean, M.D., Minor Emergency Clinic and Mercy Health Center in the admitting department. Sherrie loved helping people and she took care of her mother for many years.

She was an avid doll collector and her and her mom had a great doll collection. Together they went to doll shows, while her mom was still alive. Sherrie Ann also loved working in her yard growing flowers.

She is survived by her sisters, Janney Bee Adams and her husband Garland of Phoenix, Arizona, Lillie Jannette Wyatt and her husband David of Bethany; her beloved dogs whom she dearly loved, Sweet Pea, Dusty and Nickie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends and neighbors who will miss her.

Sherrie Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Audrey Crites, grandparen­ts, George and Josie Ball, Arthur and Lillie Crites, one brother, Wilbur R. Crites, Jr.
