OKC Memorial Marathon to require proof of vaccination
Participants in the 21st annual Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon festivities on Oct. 2-3 will need to either provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the marathon, half marathon, relay and 5-kilometer run. Anyone over age 12 who is participating in the kids marathon must provide the same proof.
Marathon officials have also capped race participants to 12,000, which is 50% of the runners who ran the the 2019 race. The 2020 event was canceled and the 2021 races moved to October due to COVID-19.
