Mass of Remembrance is planned

A Mass of Remembrance for families who have lost someone to suicide will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady's Cathedral, 3214 N Lake.

The fifth annual event will be held at the cathedral instead of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church because St. Francis of Assisi is undergoing renovation.

The Mass is being held on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. Coordinator Denise Shortt said the Mass is "always a peaceful and reassuring service." People of all faiths are welcome to attend.
